The La New Bears are a member of the Chinese Professional Baseball League. They joined the CPBL in 2003 as First Financial Holdings Agan when the league merged with the Taiwan Major League. Former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chin-Feng Chen joined the Bears after being drafted in the 2005 CPBL draft and won their first title the next year.
