Charlie Mullen took over as manager of the Seattle Rainiers in the middle of the 1919 season. The team finished 24-38 under his direction but remained in 8th place in the Pacific Coast League. Bill Clymer had managed the team in the first part of the season. Under Clymer, the team won 38 games and lost 70 games.
